Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026

PromptStore is designed as a private prompt library. The app does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data.

The short version

No account. No analytics. No advertising SDKs. Your prompts stay under your control, stored on device, and synced only through your own iCloud account if you choose to enable it.

Data collection

PromptStore does not collect personal data, analytics data, advertising identifiers, or tracking data. The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.

Prompt content

Prompts you create or save are stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is available on your device, your library syncs through Apple's CloudKit to keep your other iPhones and iPads up to date. This happens inside your own iCloud account. PromptStore does not operate a server account system and does not upload your prompt library to a PromptStore backend.

Import and export

If you choose to import or export prompt files, those files are handled only for the action you request. You control where exported files are saved or shared.

Retention and deletion

PromptStore keeps library data until you delete it in the app, remove the app's data from your devices or iCloud, or erase the relevant device or Apple ID data. Deleting a prompt also removes its PromptStore copy-history records. You can export a portable backup before deletion. CloudKit changes may take time to propagate to every signed-in device.

System services

PromptStore may use Apple system features such as SwiftData, CloudKit, Shortcuts, Spotlight, and app preferences to provide core app functionality. These features operate according to Apple's platform behavior and privacy protections.

Children's privacy

PromptStore does not knowingly collect data from children or from any other users.
